Tortured plywood canoe plans

If you’ve never paddled in a canoe before, here are some Tortured plywood canoe plans. The person in the back of the canoe is the driver. They control where the boat goes. The person occupying the front seat is there for extra power.

Paddling together is important. Miss one stroke and you’re sure to hear about it. Miss two, and that’s when things start to get ugly. All was going well on our first day of paddling. Too well…

Finally, David’s voice broke the peace by asking, “Do you think you could get a little more power in on each stroke? It’s hard to keep us on course when you’re just lilly-dippin’ in the water.”

Excuse me. What!? He did not just criticize my paddling. I’ve been paddling for 2 hours now; I think I know what I’m doing. Resisting all urge to detonate the situation, I turned around to attend an impromptu lesson on how you're actually supposed to paddle.

Trying to tandem paddle in any watercraft is potentially relationship damaging.

Canoe….

If you thought you and your partner had perfect communication, here’s a sport that will put that to the test. How many times during a conventional land-locked day do you have to operate as an exact mirror of your partner? I can’t think of anything.
